How do CECs Work?
Continuing education credits or CECs are important to demonstrate your participation in continued learning, ongoing development of Pilates related skills and are essential for the continued provision of safe and effective Pilates.
As an APMA member you are required to accrue 36 CECs over a given three year CEC period. These may be gathered from a variety of sources including, but not limited to –
- Tertiary or vocational courses.
- Conferences, seminars and workshops.
- Undertaking research or literature review.
- Online learning
- Participation on committees and contributions to the APMA.
Your membership level also may require a certain amount of active CECs in order to renew in that membership level or to upgrade/downgrade the level.
