Who is the APMA
Vision
The Level 1 Pilates Course curriculum has been reviewed by the Australian Pilates Method Association (APMA) since 1996 and delivered in private studios since that time. It was also the model used to develop the Pilates Instructor course offered as a Graduate Certificate at UTS in Sydney NSW.
What do we offer?
- education

Insurance Access
Allied health professionals know their survival and prosperity depend upon a complex web of public and private recognition, peer support and industry acknowledgement. A crucial indicator of acceptance into mainstream health services is backing from the insurance sector. APMA has succeeded in:

Professional Identity
Presenting a united and sophisticated public identity is more than half the battle to gaining the recognition which is critical to the success of the profession. APMA has embarked on a process to expand its organisational image to better represent the interests of its members.
- Implementation and evaluation of education and safety standards

- Marketing to other health professionals through brochures, posters, and ongoing discussion and interaction with GPs, physiotherapists, health and fitness agencies
